Peter & Jenny: Walking Down The Aisle

Semoga Berkekalan Ke Anak Cucu...

I just came back from my classmate wedding dinner at The Corus Hotel. Well, I haven't met her for about close to 10 years. It was 2 weeks ago when I received a call from Jenny. She was sending her invitation to her wedding. As usual, dinner time on the card says 7pm sharp. But the dinner started at about 8.30pm. Me looking at the menu, hmm..the usual plat-du-diner-du-chinois... Impress me. Well, I am expecting something when it comes to hotel wedding dinners. My sister-in-law gave me hint-hint. She said don't give too much expectations. There were only 6 of us on our table. Therefore, the food was too much for us to handle. Even Hubby can't take it too much. Maklumlah, just recover from diarrhea and fever. The most annoying thing about this dinner is the MC. Well, apart from his overdo Yum Seng stint, I didn't expect him to perform on stage. This is even worst from a Ah Pek singing kareoke.

Don't You Wish Your Boyfriend Was Hot Like Me...

Hmm...there goes another saman for the year. The next one will be my brother-in-law's in 3 weeks time. o.O

Tzyy Anne: Jab Jab Warrior 2

Anne went for her jab session again today at the Government clinic in Kuchai Lama. Mummy and Ah Ngien reached there about 10am. Quite difficult to find a place to park there. Mummy had to make a few rounds until she found one. We were one of the few last visitors there. It was extremely noisy with kids running around and babies crying. Yes, very crowded until Anne wasn't feel very comfortable lor. Mummy had to feed Anne to calm her down. Anne fell asleep after the feeding until another Mummy with her baby came into the feeding area. The baby cried because of the pain caused by the jab. The crying was so contagious, Anne also follow suit! Before the jab session, Anne was being weighed. Sorry, the video is quite obscene, Mummy had agreed on the blog's terms and conditions. =.= Then measurement is being taken.

I am getting taller!

Taking My Vital Statistics Eh...

The menu for today's immunization is...
  • 3rd dosage of Hep. B
  • DTap: Diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis vaccine
  • Hib: Haemophilus influenzae type b vaccine
  • Oral Polio Vaccine
Anne is going to have fever again this time, just like the last jab`session. Mummy had taken her leave to take care of Anne. Mummy hope Anne will not have nightmares tonight. Anne shouldn't as she is a Jab Jab Warrior!

Tzyy Anne: Lift Me Up

Anne just know how to get Mummy's attention nowadays. Well, for your information, it is not 'Hail, The Hitler'... it's 'Mummy, eekk..Mummy, lift me up, eekk..'

Veron: Pamperness Anyone?

Hubby finds me the weirdest person on earth when it comes to the kind of TV programmes that I like to watch. Well, I prefer watching foreign films (yes, that includes Malay movies / dramas). I was scrolling on Astro the other day when I came across this Thai movie, Metrosexual.

Metrosexual

Hmm, very interesting title, I thought it was some sort of a French movie. Voila, it did kept me glued to the idiot box until the end. Its a comedy which revolves around the lifes of 5 ladies whom are best friends of each other. Think 'Sex and the City' in Thai version. One of the girls will soon marry her boyfriend whom the rest of the gang suspects that he's a gay. The guy, Kong quite good looking is very organized (his wardrobe is very well organized in terms of color co-ordination, labeled shoe boxes, toilet paper folded at the edges - like in hotel's). He even takes care of his facial needs (he applies night cream for his eyes).

After watching this movie, I have been thinking. I haven't really came across a guy like this before, not that I have known. I used to buy men facial cleanser and cream for Hubby to use. This is because he has been using the same bar of soap to wash his face.

Hubby's Favorite: Dettol Soap

Guess what, he didn't even use it. Reason: He's lazy. Well, after some time, I was thinking, it would have been quite worrying if Hubby is like Kong. Even myself, I haven't been to have my face being pampered, or any manicure and pedicure sessions or a trip to the salon to perm or straighten my hair. Sounds pathetic? Okie, one SPA treatment in Penang before and 3 times of foot reflexology in my lifetime. In terms of these stuff, I am a bit reluctant to splurge. I bought myself a tube of mud mask and promise myself to use every week. Unfortunately, poor mud mask is always been forgotten. Maybe I am too busy. I remember the days when I was flying and I always have the opportunity to pamper myself. Yes, to apply mask on my face. I don't think I can slot in time for all these for the time being. The pamperness session is now on Anne...

Veron: Gangsta Paradise

Today I was awaken by a sad news. My sister-in-law got robbed at Danau Kota at 4am this morning. She was with a few friends at one of the mamak stall and was approached by a few guys with their motorbike. She was hit on her head with a helmet and they took her valuables. One of her guy friend saw the incident and would like to help out but those people took out their parangs which left her friend helpless. Traumatised, she went to a few police stations to report the incident. My mother-in-law then accompanied her to the hospital to get a x-ray scan for her head. Luckily, nothing serious happened to her.

From this incident, it makes me think. I used to stay around this area (Wangsa Maju, Setapak) for about 20 over years. Yes, I am a city girl staying in the suburbs. I have seen the place developed from a jungle to a concrete jungle now and it has certainly pumped up the population in this area. There are a lot of low cost flats around this area. This place is never short of facilities like schools, transportation (bus, LRT), college, shopping malls, markets, etc. I must say its a nice place to stay with all the facilities. Furthermore, it is very near to the town. Now, the place started to get very congested with all the condos and shop lots mushrooming everywhere which left the greeneries nowhere to be seen. I must say that the place where I used to grow up has turned to become a gangsta paradise. Why? The incidents below are listed in chronological order (as far as I can remember... o.O)

  • Mid-1990s: My father-in-law's 2 Perdanas (1 I think is his and subsequently he rent another) got stolen in front of his house in Section 5.
  • 1997-1998: My parents' Wira got broken into while parking at the upper parking lot in Alpha Angle. Nothing valuable has been lost.
  • 1998: My classmate, Michelle was a victim of snatch thief which took place in Wangsa Melawati. She was walking alone at the roadside in the morning to catch a bus. A motorbike with 2 guys grabed her handbag from behind. She held on to the handbag and they dragged her about 5 to 10 metres. The handbag stripe eventually snapped and they went away leaving Michelle helpless.
  • 2001: I become a victim. After class, got down from the bus near Carrefour. Met with my classmate (guy, which is quite big size). He accompanied me to Hubby's house (then boyfriend la). We were walking on the opposite of the road in the housing area. I was always very observant when I was alone. But things happened when you least expected. I heard a motorbike approching from behind. Usually I will turned my head and look. This time, little did I know, one of the guys on the motobike came from my behind, pulled my back pack from my right and I fell on my back on the ground. Things happened so fast that I did not know what had happened until my classmate shouted, "OI!!" at them and only I realised that I was looking at the sky, clueless. Fortunate enough, I didn't hurt my back and head, just scratches on my left elbow (yes, it left some scars) and I was in total shock.
  • 4-5 years after that: Someone got stabbed near TARC for robbery also.
  • 2006/2007: Michelle (my brother-in-law's wife)'s car got broken in, in Section 5 and her digital camera got stolen.
  • Somewhere in 2006: Dave, my schoolmate, his car got broken in and the fellow took his working bag, thinking there was a laptop in it. His car was parked near NZ Curry House.
  • Mid this year (2008): My grandma-in-law's house in Section 5 got broken in and the fellow took my brother-in-law's a few months old Mac.

There was a pondok polis in Section 5 (they occupied a housing lot) and it is always been locked. I think the MP needs to do something about this. Meanwhile, Hell is breaking loose... o.O

Veron: Since The Days Of Alexander Graham Bell

I had my first handphone when I was a freshman in college. It was a NEC Primera (yea, the generation after 'Tai-Ko-Tai') owned previously by my dad. It was a very heavy hand held device with an antenna. (I didn't manage to find the picture over the Net...)Well, the phone serves as a GPS of me to my parents. Guess what, I can't make outgoing calls with this phone. Yes, despite having a handphone, I still need to search & painstakingly queue up to use the public phone. Whats annoying about this phone:

  • Its ringtone can be as loud that you can even hear it from 2 blocks away
  • The functionality is based on a combination of numbers (Is either you have to bring along the user manual to use it or you memorised the options in your head as it is not GUI)
  • The antenna always came off, so each time there's an in-coming call, I must make sure it is attached, else I can't hear clearly
  • It is can cause fatality if I throw and kena people's head

Into the 3rd year of college, my dad bought me an Alcatel. Mine one is pink in color. Not many people know about this series as it Alcatel will venture into a different product functions after this. It looks like a walkie-talkie though. The phone lasted me until the battery is unable to be used.

After I graduated, I worked as a part time sales assistant in FOS. That is where I got another phone. I can't remember what is the name of the model (it's a Motorola)but it is a candybar and the keypad looks like a butterfly shape. It was my first color display phone with polyphonic ringtone feature. I think this phone can actually lasted me for quite long until....

Alcatel One Touch Gum

...until I bought another Motorola. It was a C975. Yes, indeed my first 3G phone. It was quite expensive to own a 3G handphone at that time but I bought it for a fraction of a price. I bought it in UK for about RM400. I actually bought 2 of this. One I gave it to my dad as a gift. To my dissapointment, his one got stolen at his workplace. >.< 3G technology & phone is still very much expensive, so at that time, I syok sendiri aje lor.. The phone lasted me until the software becomes unstable and the battery started to take its toll. This is where I got the right alasan to get another phone...

Motorola C975

Its a Hewlett Packard IPAQ (the first generation). It uses Windows platform for its software, so its like using your computer in your palm lor. At first I was not used to this kinda system (I remember using bro's O2 candybar, I was totally lost!), but eventually I found it very useful and quite easy to navigate. This phone didn't last me for 1 year as Huby gave me his PDA to use.

HP IPAQ

Its a O2 Atom Exec PDA phone. Yes, it was a feeling of stylishness and sophistication when using this gadget. I try to explore the all aspects and features of this phone so that I can help my customers in solving their problems (I am a frontline executive in a prominent sales & service office automation company). This phone ALSO didn't lasted me to 1 year and I was presented this phone by Huby (I don't know what's the ocassion, giving birth to Anne perhaps?)

O2 Atom Exec

Before I tell you guys the phone that I am using now, as you can see from my previous phones...they are actually 'lang mun' (in Cantonese)phones. Phones that normal people will not buy. I even drive a 'lang mun' car (That was what the car salesperson told me... =.=)

My current phone is surprising a Nokia... o.O A brand which I hated and very anti. I don't know what went wrong and I can't believe myself I am using this now (Even Huby [and his collegues] also can't believe himself as he is also using Nokia now - yes, both of us used to be anti-Nokia). Back to owning a 3G phone again, this time the technology is much more affordable but I still do not have time to upgrade my SIM card to be able to use 3G. I really enjoy using this phone as it can store a lot of songs and have quick access to it.(like its name, 'ExpressMusic'). So, for you people out there, forget about getting me a MP3 player.. =.=

Tzyy Anne: A Day's Out

Mummy, Daddy & ZhuinLi Goo Goo brought Anne to 1 Utama today. This is because we are organizing a polaris early next year for our annual family gathering.

Ready To Go Jalan Jalan

Anne fell asleep on the way there in the car seat. I guess the bumpy journey make Anne sleep well.

On The Car Seat

Anne got hungry when we reach there. Mummy feed Anne in the car first before we proceed for our outing. We put Anne in the stroller. Anne was quiet and very observant throughout the day in the mall. Mummy bought a fan to be place on the stroller (Anne likes fan very much!). Daddy also brought Anne to the garden to see the fishes. Wow, the fishes here are sure bigger than the ones at home!

At The Garden

We also went to the concourse for photography session where DiGi is doing their roadshow. Guess who is there to greet us? The Yellow Man of course. Anne also disguised as the Yellow Man together with Daddy...

Yellow Man Wannabe

It was a maximum exposure day for Anne. Mummy hope she better have a good night sleep tonight. Else also nevermine, because this will be a long weekend...

Caryn: Birthday Party

I was invited to Caryn's birthday party (pronounciation of 'party': think Jack Black's character singing to Ramses in 'Nacho Libre') yesterday. Yeah, it's been a long time since I have attended birthday parties among our friends. I think since college..? Hubby & me arrived at her house about 7pm.. Most of Caryn's relatives were there. Didn't see any our friends there yet. Yes, appointment at 7pm but people will only start their journey out of the house at 7pm. I haven't been to Caryn's house like since college days.. (even though we meet up often now and then..). It was a barbeque party. Friends started to arrived at about 8pm. We started our meal half and hour later. All of us lepak at the porch while Caryn's family members all seated in the house. There were quite a variety of food such as chicken wings, sausages, fried noodles, cuttlefish, sandwiches, boiled potatoes and even home-made popcorn! I guess we enjoyed ourselves yesterday night...as usual cathing up among friends. I saw 2 familiar faces at the party, the 2 kids where Caryn's mom used to babysit. I realised how much they have grown. The last time I have seen them was when they were babies...Yeah, Caryn said, "Look at you...you even have a kid now.." It was fun. I wish I could stay longer. Unfortunately, my milk tank is full. We left at about 11pm. Break's over. Back to parenthood.

Tzyy Anne: Jab Jab Warrior

Ah Ngien brought Anne for jab session in HKL today. Mummy rushed from her workplace to the hospital to witness this event. The menu for today's immunization is...

  • 2nd dosage of Hep. B
  • DTaP: Diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis vaccine
  • Hib: Haemophilus influenzae type b vaccine
  • Oral Polio Vacine
  • Measles vacine

Anne is still in dreamland when we reached the hospital. We were directed to a room where Anne is being laid down on the bed. Anne is being given Oral Polio first. Hmm..tastes funny one.. So cute, after that, Anne put both of her hands behind her head and continue sleeping. Oh oo, here comes the needle.. Anne's crying only lasted a few seconds and then she fell back to sleep again. This is what Mummy called...Anne, The Jab Jab Warrior.

Bro: Snapshot Warrior?!

I heard from my mom that bro bought a gadget for RM2k +... Its a Nikon camera. With that price tag, I know it must be a canggih thingy. I don't know he's into photography nowadays...

Ivan & Kelly: Walking Down The Aisle

I just attended my friend's wedding lunch just now. It was held in Noble Banquet, Jalan Bukit Bintang. They had a Volkswagen Touareg for the big occasion. As usual, restaurants along this road don't have many parking spaces. We parked at the back of the restaurant (some sort like lorong belakang..), and they charged us RM5 for that! This is the first time I attended a Chinese wedding lunch. Not much difference though, guests still arrived late..people still dressed in their formal wear, barebacks and stilettos (for women). Nice ambience..good lighting and music (think Diana Krall or Michael Bubblé). The food is one of the tastiest among all the Chinese wedding dinners that I have been to. The shark's fin soup is not usual slimy & starchy type. It is a broth with chicken, bamboo's pith and 'kei chi'. Typical Chinese wedding will have their toasting session, we called..Yum Seng session. Until this stage, I thought this lunch actually stands out among all the dinners that I have attended before...until THIS (please refer to the video featured below) came along. Immediately, jatuh ranking. I hope Hubby better arrange something like a jazz live band for his brother's wedding coming next January...

Mummy: Milk Plant Problem

Mummy's right breast got engorged yesterday evening (don't know tiba-tiba aje), aiks! As usual, she apply hot compress and massage. So frus, as the next day Mummy needs to work and the last time she got engorged, took her about a day to get back to normal. Luckily with the help of Anne, the engorgement is gone... Mummy was about to take Panadol for pain relief. It doesn't matter that Mummy got sleep deprived. As long as the engorgement is gone and the best thing, Anne still wants direct from Mummy! Huggies & Smoochies for Anne...

Tzyy Anne: Fist Licking Good

Mummy caught Anne putting her fist into her mouth. Anne's appettite also has increased. Therefore, Mummy has to work harder...Hiho, hiho...

Yummy drumstick

Mummy: Do You Feel The Blues?

A very sad thing happened to me yesterday. I feel that Anne is refusing my breast. She doesn't want to suckle anymore. My left breast is started to diminishing in supply. Sometimes I can only pump 1 oz per session. Each time this happens, Ah Ngien will take her away from me and give her formula. Everytime this happens, I always feel that I am a failure inside. Anne also seemed to spend more time with her other members of family than me. Sometimes I feel like a surrogate mother. I will start work the next day. It makes me miss Anne more because I can only spend time with Anne on weekends (as if...)

Mummy: Milk Plant Problem

Mummy had one of the worst times in her life. Her left breast got engorged again. Both Anne and Mummy overslept and missed the feeding time last night. Mummy did not realised that the engorgement will last until more than 12 hours. The pain that early morning was horrible. Mummy felt like want to throw herself up against the wall. Even with Anne's help and constant pumping, the swell just wouldn't subside. Anne was very frustrated and at one point she realised that there's so little milk or rather no milk coming out, she was crying and screaming like a banshee. It makes the neighbours think that our house are slaughtering babies. Hmm, speaking about breastfeeding, it reminds me of what people always say, "Free stuffs doesn't come easy..."

Tzyy Anne: Poop Princess

Anne poopped yesterday...and also day before yesterday. This is too good to be true. Coincidentally, she poopped while Popo came for a visit...haha. Popo kena grand prize twice... As for yesterday, while Mummy was feeding her, Anne suddenly stopped suckling. Her face turned red and she keep kicking. Mummy hear familiar voices from her derriere...Mustard factory starts working.

Isn't it fabulous?

Mummy: Splash!

I had 2 wet experiences today.

1. Princess Anne paip bocor
After feeding at 4am, I decided to change her diaper. While removing, her paip bocor. Yup, her mattress is wet and so did her jumper. I was thinking, it was also about her bathing time (her usual bathing time in the mornings is 6am), I put her on the non-slip mat at the other room. Maelah wasn't up yet (I didn't know she stay up to 3am to layan Anne.. o.O) at that time so its all sendirian berhad (usually Maelah will prepare the bath tubs for me). After preparing Anne's bath tubs, I undressed Anne. While I lift her up to the tub, guess what, Anne wet herself again. This time, my shorts also wet ah... So I had my bath at 5am as though I am preparing to go to work...

2. Veron, The Plumber
As I was about to feed Anne at 4pm, Maelah shouted to me. "Mem, paip bocor di belakang.." I was thinking, "What?! Another bocor incident?" >.< Maelah was all soaked. Yah, I have to be the Macgyver at that time as Hubby wasn't home and Papa & the rest had gone to Hadyai. I took the tape and temporarily seal it. I told Maelah, I don't know how long will it hold. I tried to call Hubby but he hung me up. Guess he was having a very important meeting at the site. When I thought everything was over, Maelah shouted again.. "Mem, tak boleh, ia sudah terangkat lagi.." Haiih, cukup frus.. I went outside the house to turn off the main water supply and whatever tap that is connected and available in the kitchen. I grab every available old cloth and wrap the pipe around. In the process of doing that, the water from the pipe is still flowing out like fountain and splashed all over me. I was soaked from hujung rambut hingga ke hujung kaki. Yah, I didn't feel anything sexy like one of the desperate housewives washing her car in Wisteria Lane but hot blood gushing inside me. I told Maelah not to use the thing at the moment while waiting for the Hubby to come back and fix. Maelah said, "Di rumah tak ade orang laki-laki susah" I said, "Siapa kata takda orang laki-laki susah? Takda orang laki-laki pun tak apa, kita cari jalan.." =.=

There goes my wet stories...

Tzyy Anne: tête-à-tête

Anne likes to chit chat. She wanted me to chat with her during the wee hours after feeding..walau. I was like keep dozing off. Once I shut up, she was like giving me the usual shout of 'AHH!'.

Me Love Googoogaga One...
She loves to look at the ceiling fan. Maybe it has a hypnotising effect on her.. =D

Thursday, October 23, 2008

Tzyy Anne: Poop Princess

Anne poopped this morning. Bravo! No wonder she cannot sleep after feeding lor...With all that stuff in her diaper, she still can googoogaga in her cot.. o.O Dr. Baskaran said it is normal for breastfeeding babies (for Anne, half a pail feeding) to poop every few days because breast milk is easy to digest.

Bro: Blogger

I got to know about bro's blog today. Walau, cukup canggih! Way to go orang sawah!

Apa Khabar Orang Sawah Di Tanam Nam?

Tzyy Anne: Exhibition

Anne went for her first checkup at General Hospital, KL this morning. Hmm, Mummy felt it was more of a photo shoot session. Yah, Dr. Baskaran, Dr. Jumeah and all the staff nurses that attended to us before catched a glimpse of Anne. Later, that day, Ah Ngien brought Anne to IMU (Ah Ngien's workplace) to 'show-show'. Mummy guess Anne is so malas to layan them, coincidentally Anne fell asleep in both sessions... >.< Anne had her first experience wearing a napkin...kaka. Anne has been wearing diaper since birth. "How is the experience like with a napkin on, Anne?" "Oh, it feels windy and circulated lah, hehe.." Mummy had ultrasound by Dr. Jumeah also. Dr. said Mummy's uterus has shrinked back to normal. However, Mummy's tummy still look bulgy. It's time to do sit ups and go to the gym... Mummy says, "Mungkin tidak." It's the second time since puberty that Mummy actually gain weight. She just wants to enjoy the moment first. No rush to slim down ler... o.O

Tzyy Anne: Poop Princess

Anne pooped today. Yellow soft stools. A good progress..way to go! Mummy is starting to keep the milk stock already. She has the first serving of fenugreek tea this morning. Mummy does not like the taste. It's weird to have the after taste of curry in her mouth, but we will see how it goes.

Mustard Anyone?

Tzyy Anne: Everybody's Sweetheart

Lilypie Kids birthday Ticker

Anne pooped every 2-3 days. It worries everybody as Anne drinks a lot, sometimes up to 5 oz per feeding (usual 3 oz). Ah Ngien suggested to change the formula. But Mummy got different plans...produce more milk for Anne! So far, Daddy had been very supportive. Mummy went and buy fenugreek seeds (halba) to be consumed with water to increase milk supply. Mummy do not know how well this will work but at least she tries.

Tzyy Anne: Everybody's Sweetheart

Anne has her education fund set up today. We had a full moon reception for her yesterday during lunch. Friends and family came and they brought a lot of gift sets and ang pow for Anne. Anne also had a non-stop photography session from all her fans...

Omong omong

I am getting quite bored here. Apart from taking care of Anne, I have been having the same routine everyday. Same type of food and watching Astro almost all the time. I was wondering how the housewives cope with all these everyday. It does cross my mind sometimes to be a stay-at-home Mom, but it just doesn't work. I can't let Hubby to be the sole breadwinner of the family. I just want to let him know that I am here too to help out. Mom is leaving next Friday to her house. I guess if we were in our house, she would have stayed longer. I have to figure out a schedule for myself and Anne as I am getting to work very soon. Sometimes I wonder whether I could cope or not. Its not a matter of the hectic time schedule, its due to catching up with sleep. Even during those days, I could almost doze off at wheel. Since I am now in Bukit Jalil, going to my office is a bit further, so I hope everything will be fine.

Chez Moi: Home Sweet Home

I really miss my house back in Puchong. I am wondering when will we be back again (I am putting up at my in law's place in Bukit Jalil for confinement and don't know till when...). I miss my red sofa, my LCD TV, my own kitchen, the night view and everything else. The night when we left Puchong, it was a very sad thing for me. Its like leaving your loved one behind, not knowing when you will ever come back again. Not forgetting my 2 plants at home, which I worry by the time I am back, they already dried up...Hubby, I am counting on you to take care of them. There is no internet connection yet here in Puchong Prima (except for those mobile operators). So I wonder how long they will take to settle this. My mom says even in her area in Damansara Damai, internet connection is only available recently. Haiih...what a poor town planning.

Papa: Back From Bangkok

Papa came back today afternoon after a week's trip of golf with friends. Guess what, he bought me my 7th bottle of Benetictine DOM...duh..What can I say apart from Thank You? Kampateh! =.=

Lets Get Drunk!

Tzyy Anne: Everybody's Sweetheart

Mummy has been breastfeeding Anne the whole day (except for Mummy's dinner time...). She also sleeps most of the time. Its a good sign. Anne's eye lashes has grown. She looks more lady like now..keke

Oh yah, Po Po gets off for this weekend to settle some stuffs at home. So I got to learn to manage myself lor... =.=

Tzzy Anne: Everybody's Sweetheart

Finally I started a blog for myself...with much thoughts...I started a journal for Anne in my handphone...

10 Sept 2008
Chin Tzyy Anne was born on 1751 hours at Hospital Kuala Lumpur. She weighs at 3.04kg. She came into the world witnessed by hubby. Dr. Jumeah conducted the labor and mummy had epidural for the labor. Water broke about 1030 hours and was sent to labor room about 30 minutes later. Contractions were still bearable. I almost gave up pushing Anne out. At that time, Dr. Jumeah said if I fail to push, she will perform vacuum on Anne. The stitching process was more painful than the labor. Epidural supply ran out before the stitching so nasib lor...At night, the pain was unbearable. I cannot sleep, keep thinking of the pain. Anne cried, and I try to grab her from my left side of the bed. With drip on my right hand, everything seemed so impossible. I insist on grabbing her..which left me deeply in pain down south and my right hand too. I try to breastfeed her but she still cries...Of course, milk supply not here yet mah..

Fresh From The Oven...

11 Sept 2008
Mi came early in the morning to bring me breakfast. My first confinement meal...Mee suah with egg and ginger. The thought of going to te toilet was a nightmare. I have to endure pain when passing urine...urgh! I change Anne's diaper for the first time. Try to breastfeed again, still no milk yet. Today, Anne got her first BCG.

12 Sept 2008
I am getting worried..still no milk supply yet. Anne keep crying...MIL said, nothing except breast milk but I was thinking, she got to have something to fill up her stomach first. Anne poops but did not pass urine. Signs of dehydration. I use breast pump to try to stimulate, only to get less than 1 drop of milk. Better than none. Anne got up every hour at night for milk. Ah Ngien and Po Po took turns to attend to Anne. Meanwhile, I am still struggling with rest and pain.

13 Sept 2008
We shifted nest from Puchong to Bukit Jalil because of the hot weather. Hubby still have not fix aircon in our house yet. Super hot. I am sweating and yet I still have to wear sweater..

14 Sept 2008
